Yannis Stavrou
Founded STAVROU in 2015, after years at architecture practices in Athens and Zurich. He studied architecture at NTUA and completed his master's at ETH Zürich.
He works mainly on private residences and renovations, with a small, dedicated team. He takes on every project personally — from the first meeting to the last detail on site.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't believe in the impressive for its own sake. I believe in light that falls right, in the joint that sits where it should, in the proportion you don't notice because it simply “works”.
A house isn't a work of art to look at — it's a frame for life, to be lived. That's why every millimetre counts, even where the eye doesn't look.
